Introduction to Principles on Education

Primrose School in Pondicherry is a co-ed day school affiliated with the CISCE, Delhi. We believe that learning is an adventurous and joyful process that takes place in a nurturing environment, free from fear. At Primrose, every child is treated as a growing mind and soul.

Primrose School aspires to be a beacon of excellence, setting a benchmark for other educational institutions to follow. In a world where the notion of genius is often believed to be rare and limited to a select few, our esteemed founder, Karmayogi, affectionately known as Appa, held a different belief. He firmly believed that every child possesses untapped potential, waiting to flourish under the right conditions. It is this conviction that drives us at Primrose to create an environment where every child's genius can be unlocked.

As we embark on our 25th year, we have decided to share the principles of education upon which Primrose is built. During our daily assembly, we introduce one principle to our students, ensuring they are exposed to these guiding principles regularly. Also, we understand the importance of involving parents in their children's education, so we will provide updates on these principles through a dedicated page for parents to read.

We hope that this initiative will give parents a better understanding of our school and its philosophy, serving as a positive starting point for their engagement with Primrose.
